The Story

Birchlane Nightspark, known fondly to all as Tarzan, was born here at Birchlane in 2022 out of one of our most beloved mares, Rocky’s Blonde. Even as a foal, Tarzan carried the essence of what we strive to breed: strong bone, feather, and most of all — an exceptionally calm and grounded nature. He was the kind of colt who made you stop and watch. You just knew he’d go far.

Today, he lives in Wyoming, USA with Karla of KR Horsemanship, where he is being brought on as one of their future stallions. It’s hard to put into words how proud and grateful we are that he’s found such a perfect home across the world.

​From the fields of County Kerry to the ranchlands of Wyoming, Tarzan’s story is a reminder of why we do what we do.

He carries not only the bloodlines of Irish tradition, but the trust of generations. We’re honored to have bred him, and even more blessed to see him thrive with someone who loves him deeply.

Karla recently shared:
